“The African American Health Disparities Task Force is bringing the City of Buffalo together to discuss health in a new way. Join us on the last day of Black History Month for the Reimagining Forum featuring experts in their field: Dr. Shaun Nelms Ed.D. Associate Professor, Warner School of Education, University of Rochester, current Superintendent of East High School (Rochester, NY) and former Deputy Superintendent of the Greece Central School District and Joanna Weiss, JD, Co-Director of The Fines and Fees Justice Center in New York City, as we work towards solutions to address avoidable school suspensions and exploitive ticketing of African Americans.
