HANYS Announces 2019 Board Chair and Officers

ALBANY, N.Y. — The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) Board of Trustees named its Chairman for 2019:  Richard J. Murphy, President and Chief Executive Officer, South Nassau Communities Hospital.

The Board also announced its other 2019 Officers and Executive Committee members:

  • Chairman-Elect: Thomas J. Quatroche, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer, Erie County Medical Center
  • Secretary: Bruce J. Flanz, President and Chief Executive Officer, MediSys Health Network
  • Treasurer: Michael J. Spicer, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Saint Joseph’s Medical Center 
  • Immediate Past Chairman: Steven J. Corwin, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer, NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System  

2019 Executive Committee Members:

The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) is the only statewide hospital and continuing care association in New York State, representing non-profit and public hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies, and other healthcare organizations.
