BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you’re worried about high blood pressure, you don’t have to go any further than your barber or beauty shop. And now there are six more locations throughout the city of Buffalo.

The trial for the partnership between salons, barbers, Millennium Collaborative Care and The National Witness Project, began in Niagara Falls.

The goal is to bring cardiovascular health awareness to people at the most comfortable and convenient locations.

Each barber and beauty shop has a small digital blood pressure monitor which customers will put on their wrist to record their blood pressure.
