Natalie Shapiro, RN, has been appointed Nurse Healthcare Coach, Population Health Services, effective Mon., Nov. 26, 2018.

Natalie joins Millennium from Planned Parenthood, Central and Western New York, where she served as Registered Nurse serving clients at multiple clinics in Central and Western New York.

Prior to Planned Parenthood, Natalie was a Registered Nurse with Neighborcare Health, Seattle, WA where she worked at multiple clinics in the Seattle metro area. She has also gained Advanced Practice Nursing experience at the Meridian Center for Health, Seattle, where she conducted a community health needs assessment; and also led a Hepatitis education project in collaboration with addiction health providers and counselors.

Natalie also has significant teaching experience, having served as Manager, Teacher Leadership Development for Teach For America – South Dakota, Mission, Rosebud American Indian Reservation; Literature and Media Specialist at the Crazy Horse School, Wanblee, Pine Ridge American Indian Reservation; and Eight Grade Reading Teacher at Ramiro Barrera Middle School, Roma, Texas.

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, MN; and a Master of Science in Advanced Community and Public Health Nursing from Seattle University, Seattle, WA. She also holds Certifications in Healthcare Level Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
