Michele Mercer RN, MSHSA – Chief Clinical Integration Officer
As Chief Clinical Integration Officer, Michele Mercer brings a range of experiences to Millennium Collaborative Care (MCC) as she previously served as the Executive Director of Upper Allegheny Clinical Integration Organization. In this leadership role, she was a key member of the Upper Allegheny Health System senior management team responsible for the development and implementation of clinical integration for Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY and Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, PA, as well as their respective medical staffs.
Prior to her work at Upper Allegheny, she held various management roles for HealthNow New York, Inc. including Director of Health Care Services Analytics, Employer Reporting and Analytics. Michele also held the position of Senior Account Executive for several key self-insured accounts at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York. Prior to joining BlueCross BlueShield in 2003, she was the Executive Director of Product Management for Ingenix, a health information technology subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group Michele also spent several years in utilization and quality management at Independent Health, a leading health insurer based in Buffalo, NY.
Michele is a Registered Nurse and received an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from Erie Community College; a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from the University at Buffalo School of Nursing; and a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from D’Youville College, Buffalo, NY.
