Dee Johnson returns to review breast cancer self-assessment and yearly screenings. Women should do monthly self-checks, annual clinical breast exams, and annual mammograms. Men should also do self-checks and see a doctor if they notice something unusual. She also reviews data that shows Western New York has a higher rate of breast cancer than elsewhere in New York State and the country, particularly among African Americans.
