Residents Invited to Participate in Erie County Health Assessment Consumer Survey 2016
The Erie County Department of Health is currently working with community partners to gather information from residents for public health planning. This assessment takes place every four years and information collected will help shape local health policy over several years.
The Community Health Assessment is a document that reflects the collaboration of community partners, including hospitals, CBOs, not-for-profit organizations, and members of the community. The Consumer Survey is an integral part of the assessment giving community members voice in the process of determining health priorities in the next four year plan. It’s important to have representation from a broad spectrum of demographic groups to provide a full range of community perspective.
Responses from the survey will help identify gaps in services and needs in the community. Information collected will be analyzed, along with other community data, for the purpose of creating a plan to fill gaps and address the county’s needs going forward.
