Leaders are called upon to positively influence the organizations, decisions and the individuals they serve. Creative leaders, those who take a proactive approach to frame their problems as challenges and who separate ideation from evaluation to produce novel and useful ideas to address or respond to challenges, increase their overall effectiveness in bringing about productive change.
This session covers the mindset, showcases tools and elaborates on the thinking skills of the Creative Problem-Solving process. Attendees will experience the dynamic balance of divergent and convergent thinking and leave more confident in their abilities to positively frame challenges, negotiate change and lead others through the change process.
Outcomes include that:
• Participants will learn how to become more effective problem solvers by separating ideation from evaluation
• Participants will learn strategies to frame challenges as opportunities
• Participants will learn techniques to shorten the amount of time it takes to solve problems and implement solutions
• Participants will learn techniques to develop the capacity, performance and productivity of their teams
