Millennium Collaborative Care, PPS has appointed Christine Blidy Chief Network Officer.

As Chief Network Officer, Blidy will serve as the primary liaison to Millennium’s partners including physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers. She will provide assistance with transitioning to the Value Based Payment (VBP) benefit design; drive the Provider Contracting Strategy (via Master Participation Agreements); and assist in the development of the future structure of the Millennium organization. She will report to Al Hammonds, Executive Director.

Blidy brings extensive hospital, health system and managed care experience in the areas of financial management, reimbursement, operations, contracting and value based payment. She has worked in a variety of settings including Sisters of Charity Hospital, Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and the Catholic Health System. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Provider Network Management and Operations at HealthNow, serving Buffalo and Albany markets.

Blidy holds an associate’s degree in Health Information Management from Alfred State (State University of New York College of Technology) Alfred, NY; and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management and Economics from State University of New York Empire State College. She currently serves on the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) National Healthcare Economics Panel.

Millennium Collaborative Care (MCC), is a Performing Provider System (PPS) under New York State’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program, a statewide initiative championed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to fundamentally restructure the health care delivery system by reinvesting in the Medicaid program, with the primary goal of reducing avoidable hospital use by 25% over 5 years.

The mission of Millennium Collaborative Care is to collaborate and partner with physicians, healthcare providers and community-based organizations on the implementation of 11 DSRIP programs designed by Millennium to positively impact Medicaid patients across Western New York’s eight counties (Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming).
